Montréal takes environmental sustainability seriously. Our convention centre has achieved BOMA BEST certification for its surprisingly small ecological footprint. Our airport (Montréal–Trudeau) features a new LEED-certified jetty. Much of the city’s public transit is fuelled with sustainably sourced electricity.

Montréal never feels like a concrete jungle. At the heart of the city, Mount Royal offers access to hundreds of acres of restorative park space, and the city is scattered with countless additional greenspaces. The mighty St. Lawrence River flows by the foot of the city, enabling opportunities for plenty of fresh air: boating, kayaking and even surfing. It’s easy to catch your breath in Montréal.
