Plateau Mont-Royal and Mile End

The Livart is a multidisciplinary centre for contemporary art. Its building dates from the 1930s and is a former presbytery that belonged to the Dominican friars. Redeveloped by the architectural firm, SHED, it houses several activities: art gallery, art school, boutique, and studios. Outdoor spaces (patio and courtyard) are beautiful and peaceful areas.

Two main venues (the Gallery and the Great Hall) are rented for a multitude of private, public and corporate events. The Gallery offers access to the inner courtyard and is ideal for happy hours, cocktails, and launches. Bright and white, the Gallery retains its original charm and woodwork. The Great Hall has a more modern and industrial character. This room is ideal for conferences, corporate parties, launches, and more. It is equipped with a projector, sound system, 14-foot bar, and a modular lighting system, and can accommodate up to 300 people in cocktail party mode. Both venues have access to a well-equipped catering kitchen and a roof patio.
