Restaurant Les Street Monkeys
Unpretentious and authentic, Les Street Monkeys resto-bar brings true Cambodian street fare to Verdun in a casual neighbourhood hang-out with small, snackable plates to share and signature cocktails to complement.
Les Street Monkeys pulls its name from the many errant monkeys flitting about the streets of Cambodia and the country’s fragrant and flavourful street food. But there’s more to this resto than just a catchy name: traditional Cambodian dishes, including spring rolls from the chef’s mom, alongside elements from neighbouring Laos and Thai cuisine grace a modern tapas menu filled with seasonal creations as beautiful as they are appetizing. An exotic mix of spices and fresh ingredients will have you clamouring for more while Cambodian-inspired cocktails round out this delectable Asian dining experience.
Les Street Monkey’s alleyway of a dining room is long, narrow, and wonderfully appointed with an original mural that runs the length of the restaurant on one side with a hardwood bar on the other. Neon lighting and exposed ductwork overhead complete the casual industrial-chic atmosphere of this young and fun eatery that serves up street food with a hint of street in its décor. Ideal for a night out or for business meals, the restaurant and staff can also be reserved for private events.
