Société de transport de Montréal (STM)

Public transit

The STM offers tourists a variety of tailor-made transit passes allowing them to use its network (bus and métro) as often as desired. Move quickly and with carefree ease from Montréal’s underground galleries to the summit of Mount Royal or stop by the Old Port and then head to the Olympic Stadium, all in the same afternoon. Whether out celebrating, shopping or grabbing a bite in one of the city’s vibrant neighbourhoods, the métro and buses get riders to where they want to be. A dedicated network of night buses also allow riders to see all of Montréal, all night long. In addition, children 11 and under travel free when accompanied by a person aged 14 and over who is responsible for supervising them and who has a valid transit pass.
