Société de transport de Montréal (STM)

Public transit

The STM offers tourists a variety of transit passes valid for one day, three days, evening or unlimited weekend, allowing them to use its network (bus and métro) as often as desired. Move quickly and with carefree ease from Montréal’s underground galleries to the summit of Mount Royal or stop by the Old Port and then head to the Olympic Stadium, all in the same afternoon. Whether you’re out to celebrate, shop or grab a bite in one of the city’s vibrant neighbourhood’s, the métro and buses get you to where you want to be, day and night. In addition, children 11 and under travel free when accompanied by a person aged 14 and over who is responsible for supervising them and who has a valid transit pass.
