Les Quartiers du Canal - Griffintown

The sweet smell of woodsmoke swirls through Foxy restaurant in Griffintown, where the warmth of the fire is equalled by the warmth of the attentive service! Here, the concept revolves around grilling over a live fire or roasting in a wood-burning oven, with a cozy atmosphere as fragrant as the dishes coming out of the kitchen.

Homemade and local drive the philosophy behind this elegant, yet funky restaurant led by the veteran restaurateur duo of Dyan Solomon and Éric Girard of Olive & Gourmando fame. Chef Leigh Roper excels at creating rustic, high-end comfort food prepared with superb, locally-sourced produce.

Eye-catching presentation and divine flavour headline Foxy’s concise menu. From starters the likes of charred cauliflower or autumn salad, followed by delectable mains such as grilled Nagano pork chops or charcoal grilled sea bass, Foxy offers refreshingly simple, yet flavourful cuisine. And the desserts! An absolute must, if only for the homemade ice cream.

With an ambiance more akin to a bar than an eatery, Foxy with its long, narrow dining room aglow with soft lighting and featuring an open kitchen delivers more than a meal, it offers a night out on the town.
